Sunni schools of thought
The Sunni schools of thought refer to the various interpretations and practices within Sunni Islam, the largest branch of Islam. The main schools are the Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali schools, each named after their founders. These schools differ in their approaches to Islamic law, theology, and rituals, but all share a common belief in the teachings of the Qur'an and the Hadith.
Each school has its own methodology for interpreting religious texts and deriving legal rulings. For example, the Hanafi school is known for its flexibility and use of reasoning, while the Hanbali school emphasizes strict adherence to the texts. Despite these differences, all Sunni schools aim to guide followers in their faith and practice.
