Sundew
The Sundew is a type of carnivorous plant belonging to the genus Drosera. It is known for its unique leaves, which are covered in glandular hairs that secrete a sticky substance. This sticky fluid attracts and traps insects, allowing the plant to absorb nutrients from its prey.
Sundews are typically found in nutrient-poor environments, such as bogs and wetlands. They thrive in areas with plenty of sunlight and moist soil. There are over 200 species of sundews, varying in size and appearance, but all share the characteristic sticky leaves that help them survive in challenging habitats.
