Sunburns
A sunburn is a type of skin damage caused by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. It results in red, painful skin that may peel as it heals. Sunburns can occur after just a short time in the sun, especially during peak hours when UV rays are strongest.
To prevent sunburn, it is important to use sunscreen with a high SPF, wear protective clothing, and seek shade when the sun is at its highest. Severe sunburns can lead to long-term skin damage and increase the risk of skin cancer.
