Sultan Osman I
Sultan Osman I, also known as Osman Gazi, was the founder of the Ottoman Empire. He was born around 1258 and ruled from 1299 until his death in 1326. Osman I united various tribes in northwestern Anatolia and expanded his territory through military conquests. His leadership laid the foundation for the empire that would grow to become one of the most powerful states in history.
