Sultan AlNeyadi is an Emirati astronaut who was selected as part of the UAE Astronaut Program. He was born on May 23, 1981, in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. AlNeyadi has a background in engineering and has worked as a flight engineer and a mission specialist. In 2023, Sultan AlNeyadi made history by becoming the first Emirati to participate in a long-duration space mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). His mission aimed to conduct scientific research and experiments, contributing to the global understanding of space and its effects on the human body.
