Hazzaa AlMansoori
Hazzaa AlMansoori is an Emirati astronaut who made history as the first person from the United Arab Emirates to travel to space. He launched aboard the Soyuz MS-15 spacecraft on September 25, 2019, and spent eight days aboard the International Space Station (ISS), where he conducted scientific experiments and shared his experiences with students back home.
Before becoming an astronaut, AlMansoori served as a pilot in the UAE Air Force. He was selected for the UAE Astronaut Program in 2018, which aimed to develop a new generation of space explorers and contribute to the country's growing space ambitions.
