Sudanese Pound
The Sudanese Pound is the official currency of Sudan. It is abbreviated as SDG and is subdivided into 100 piastres. The currency has undergone several changes and redenominations due to economic challenges, with the current version being introduced in 2011 after the separation of South Sudan.
The Central Bank of Sudan is responsible for issuing and regulating the Sudanese Pound. The currency is used for everyday transactions within the country, and its value can fluctuate based on various economic factors, including inflation and foreign exchange rates.
