Sucker Fish
Sucker fish, also known as remora, are a type of fish recognized for their unique ability to attach themselves to larger marine animals, such as sharks and turtles. They have a specialized suction disc on their heads that allows them to cling to these hosts, providing them with protection and access to food scraps.
These fish are typically found in warm ocean waters and can grow up to 3 feet long. Sucker fish are not parasitic; instead, they have a commensal relationship with their hosts, benefiting from the ride while causing no harm to the larger animals.
