Styloid Process of the Ulna
The styloid process of the ulna is a bony projection located at the distal end of the ulna, one of the two long bones in the forearm. This small, pointed structure serves as an attachment site for ligaments and tendons, playing a role in wrist stability and movement.
Anatomically, the styloid process is situated on the medial side of the wrist, just above the wrist joint. It can be easily felt through the skin and is important for the proper functioning of the forearm and hand, contributing to the overall mechanics of the upper limb.
