Stone Mountain
Stone Mountain is a large granite mountain located in Georgia, USA. It is famous for its massive relief carving, which depicts three Confederate leaders: Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. The mountain rises about 825 feet above the surrounding area and covers approximately 583 acres.
The site is part of Stone Mountain Park, a popular recreational area that offers hiking, picnicking, and various outdoor activities. Visitors can take a cable car to the summit for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The park also features a museum and a laser light show during the summer months.
