Stingless Bee
Stingless bees are small, social insects belonging to the family Apidae. Unlike their more well-known relatives, honeybees, they do not possess a sting, making them harmless to humans. These bees are primarily found in tropical and subtropical regions, where they play a crucial role in pollination, helping to fertilize many plants and crops.
Stingless bees live in colonies that can range from a few hundred to several thousand individuals. They build their nests in hollow trees, underground, or in other protected spaces. Their honey is often sweeter and has a different flavor profile compared to that of honeybees, making it a delicacy in some cultures.
