Stephen IV of Hungary
Stephen IV of Hungary was a king who ruled from 1162 to 1163. He was a member of the Árpád dynasty and the son of Béla II of Hungary. His reign was short and marked by political instability, as he faced challenges from rival factions within the kingdom.
During his rule, Stephen IV sought to strengthen his position but struggled against the influence of powerful nobles. His reign ended when he died in 1163, leading to the ascension of his brother, Béla III of Hungary, who would later become a significant figure in Hungarian history.
