Steam-Powered Vehicles
Steam-powered vehicles are machines that use steam engines to generate motion. These vehicles were among the first to replace horse-drawn carriages in the 19th century. They operate by heating water in a boiler to create steam, which then drives pistons or turbines to turn the wheels.
The most famous steam-powered vehicle is the steam locomotive, which revolutionized transportation by allowing for faster travel over long distances. Other examples include steam-powered boats and steam cars. Although they have largely been replaced by internal combustion engines and electric vehicles, steam-powered vehicles played a crucial role in the development of modern transportation.
