Status Indicator
A Status Indicator is a visual or auditory signal that conveys the current state or condition of a system, device, or process. Commonly used in electronics and software, these indicators can take the form of lights, icons, or sounds that inform users whether something is functioning properly, requires attention, or is in a specific mode.
For example, a green light on a device may indicate that it is operating normally, while a red light could signal an error or malfunction. In software applications, a spinning icon might show that a process is ongoing, while a checkmark could confirm successful completion.
