Statue of Date Masamune
The Statue of Date Masamune is a bronze statue located in Sendai, Japan. It commemorates Date Masamune, a prominent feudal lord and the founder of the Date clan during the late 16th century. The statue depicts him wearing traditional samurai armor and a distinctive helmet with a crescent moon, symbolizing his nickname, the "One-Eyed Dragon."
