Starlings
Starlings are small to medium-sized birds belonging to the family Sturnidae. They are known for their iridescent feathers, which can appear in shades of purple, green, and blue. Starlings are social creatures, often seen in large flocks, especially during the winter months. They are found in various habitats, including urban areas, grasslands, and forests.
These birds are omnivorous, feeding on insects, fruits, and seeds. One of the most remarkable behaviors of starlings is their ability to mimic sounds, including human voices and other bird calls. They are also known for their stunning aerial displays, called murmurations, where flocks move in synchronized patterns.
