St. Mark's Campanile
St. Mark's Campanile is a bell tower located in Venice, Italy, adjacent to St. Mark's Basilica. Standing at 98.6 meters (323 feet), it is the tallest structure in the city and offers stunning views of the surrounding area. Originally built in the 9th century, the tower has undergone several renovations, with the current structure completed in 1912 after a collapse in 1902.
The campanile features a square base and is topped with a pyramid-shaped spire. It houses a set of bells, which have been used to signal important events in the city. Visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of Venice and its famous canals.
