Sri Jayendra Saraswathi
Sri Jayendra Saraswathi was a prominent Indian Hindu monk and the 69th Shankaracharya of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. Born on July 8, 1935, in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, he became the head of the Peetham in 1994. He was known for his efforts in promoting education, social welfare, and spiritual teachings.
