Spring Temple Buddha
The Spring Temple Buddha is a colossal statue located in the Zhaocun township of Lushan County, Henan, China. Standing at 128 meters (420 feet) tall, it depicts the Vairocana Buddha and is considered one of the tallest statues in the world. The statue was completed in 2008 and is part of a larger complex that includes a temple and various other structures.
The statue is made of copper and weighs approximately 1,000 tons. It was built to promote Buddhism and attract tourists to the region. The Spring Temple Buddha is surrounded by beautiful gardens and offers visitors a serene environment to reflect and meditate.
