Sprayed Concrete
Sprayed Concrete, also known as shotcrete, is a construction method where concrete is sprayed onto surfaces at high velocity. This technique allows for the application of concrete in hard-to-reach areas and can be used for various structures, including tunnels, swimming pools, and retaining walls.
The process involves mixing concrete with water and air, which is then propelled through a nozzle. Sprayed Concrete can be applied in two ways: dry-mix, where dry ingredients are mixed with air before being moistened at the nozzle, and wet-mix, where all ingredients are mixed before being sprayed.
