Split Ends
Split ends are a common hair condition where the tips of hair strands become frayed or split into two or more parts. This often occurs due to damage from heat styling, chemical treatments, or environmental factors like sun exposure. When hair lacks moisture or is subjected to excessive friction, it becomes more prone to splitting.
To prevent split ends, regular haircuts are recommended, typically every six to eight weeks. Additionally, using conditioners, hair oils, and heat protectants can help maintain hair health. Reducing the use of heat styling tools and protecting hair from harsh weather can also minimize the risk of split ends.
