Spirit Day
Spirit Day is an annual event observed in October to support LGBTQ+ youth and raise awareness about bullying. Participants wear purple to honor those who have been affected by bullying and to promote a message of acceptance and inclusion.
The day was first established in 2010 by GLAAD and has since gained widespread recognition. It serves as a reminder of the importance of standing against bullying and creating safe environments for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
