Spanish Territories
Spanish territories refer to regions and areas that are under the jurisdiction of Spain. This includes the mainland of Spain, which is located in southwestern Europe, as well as the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea and the Canary Islands off the northwest coast of Africa. Additionally, Spain has two autonomous cities, Ceuta and Melilla, located on the northern coast of Africa.
Beyond Europe and Africa, Spain also has several overseas territories, such as Puerto Rico and the Canary Islands. These territories have varying degrees of autonomy and governance, reflecting Spain's historical influence and colonial past.
