Spacelab
Spacelab was a reusable laboratory module designed for use in low Earth orbit. Developed by NASA and European Space Agency, it was launched aboard the Space Shuttle from 1983 to 1998. Spacelab provided a platform for scientific research in various fields, including biology, physics, and astronomy.
The module consisted of a pressurized laboratory and several unpressurized components, allowing astronauts to conduct experiments in a microgravity environment. Over its operational lifetime, Spacelab hosted numerous missions, contributing valuable data and insights that advanced our understanding of space and its effects on different scientific disciplines.
