SpaceShipTwo
SpaceShipTwo is a suborbital spaceplane developed by Virgin Galactic to carry passengers and research payloads into space. It is designed to reach altitudes of about 50 miles, where passengers can experience a few minutes of weightlessness and see the curvature of the Earth.
The spacecraft is launched from a carrier aircraft called WhiteKnightTwo, which ascends to a high altitude before releasing SpaceShipTwo. After separation, the spaceplane ignites its rocket engine to propel itself into space. This innovative design aims to make space tourism accessible to the public.
