Soyuz 26
Soyuz 26 was a Soviet space mission launched on December 10, 1977. It was part of the Soyuz program and aimed to transport a crew to the Salyut 7 space station. The mission lasted for 175 days, making it one of the longest crewed missions at that time.
The crew consisted of commander Viktor Gorbatko and flight engineer Yuri Malyshev. They conducted scientific experiments and performed maintenance on the space station. Soyuz 26 successfully returned to Earth on June 16, 1978, marking a significant achievement in long-duration spaceflight.
