Soyuz 25
Soyuz 25 was a Soviet space mission launched on October 9, 1977. It was part of the Soyuz program and aimed to transport cosmonauts to the Salyut 7 space station. The mission was notable for its attempt to dock with the station, which was initially unsuccessful.
The crew of Soyuz 25 included cosmonauts Viktor Gorbatko and Yuri Malyshev. After two days in orbit, the spacecraft returned to Earth due to the docking failure. Despite the setback, the mission contributed valuable experience for future Soyuz missions and the continued development of space exploration.
