Southern Fulmar
The Southern Fulmar is a seabird belonging to the family Procellariidae. It is primarily found in the Southern Hemisphere, particularly around the coasts of Antarctica and the sub-Antarctic islands. This bird is known for its distinctive gray and white plumage, and it has a wingspan of about 100 to 120 centimeters.
Southern Fulmars are excellent fliers, often gliding over the ocean for long distances in search of food. Their diet mainly consists of fish, squid, and other marine organisms. They are also known for their ability to store fat, which helps them survive during periods of food scarcity.
