Soul Nebula
The Soul Nebula, also known as NGC 2237, is a large emission nebula located in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It is approximately 1,600 light-years away from Earth and spans about 200 light-years across. The nebula gets its name from its heart-like shape, which resembles a human soul.
This nebula is rich in hydrogen gas and dust, which are essential for the formation of new stars. Within the Soul Nebula, many young stars are forming, and the intense radiation from these stars causes the surrounding gas to glow, creating a beautiful and colorful display in the night sky.
