Soprano Pipistrelle
The Soprano Pipistrelle is a small bat species commonly found across Europe and parts of Asia. It is known for its high-pitched echolocation calls, which are used for navigation and hunting insects. This bat typically has a wingspan of about 24 to 27 centimeters and weighs around 5 to 10 grams.
Soprano Pipistrelles are often active during dusk and dawn, making them easier to spot during these times. They roost in buildings, trees, and other sheltered areas. Their diet mainly consists of small flying insects, and they play a vital role in controlling insect populations in their habitats.
