Somalis
The Somalis are an ethnic group primarily found in the Horn of Africa, particularly in Somalia, but also in neighboring countries like Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Kenya. They share a common language, Somali, and have a rich cultural heritage that includes traditional music, dance, and storytelling.
Historically, the Somali people have been known for their nomadic pastoral lifestyle, herding livestock such as camels, goats, and sheep. In recent decades, they have faced challenges, including civil conflict and drought, leading to significant migration and diaspora communities around the world, particularly in North America and Europe.
