Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is the main airport serving Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Located in Cengkareng, it is approximately 20 kilometers west of the city center. The airport is named after Soekarno, Indonesia's first president, and Mohammad Hatta, the first vice president. It serves as a major hub for both domestic and international flights.
Opened in 1985, Soekarno-Hatta is one of the busiest airports in Southeast Asia. It features three terminals: Terminal 1 for domestic flights, Terminal 2 for international flights, and Terminal 3 for both domestic and international services. The airport is equipped with various facilities, including shops, restaurants, and lounges.
