A soccer field, also known as a pitch, is a rectangular area where the game of soccer is played. The standard dimensions for a full-size field range from 100 to 110 meters in length and 64 to 75 meters in width. The field is marked with lines, including a center circle, penalty area, and goal area, which help define the playing space and rules of the game. At each end of the field, there are two goals that consist of a rectangular frame with a net. The goals are 7.32 meters wide and 2.44 meters high.
