Skógafoss
Skógafoss is one of Iceland's largest and most stunning waterfalls, located in the South Iceland region. It has a drop of 60 meters (197 feet) and a width of 25 meters (82 feet), making it a popular attraction for visitors. The waterfall is fed by the Skógá River, which originates from the famous Mýrdalsjökull glacier.
Visitors can climb a staircase alongside the waterfall to reach a viewing platform at the top, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. On sunny days, rainbows often appear in the mist, adding to its beauty. Skógafoss is also part of the Fimmvörðuháls hiking trail, connecting it to other natural wonders in the area.
