Sir Malcolm Campbell
Sir Malcolm Campbell was a British racing driver and speed record breaker, born on March 11, 1885. He is best known for setting world speed records on both land and water during the early 20th century. His achievements included becoming the first person to exceed 300 miles per hour in a car, which he accomplished in 1939 with his vehicle, the Blue Bird.
In addition to his land speed records, Campbell also made significant contributions to water speed records. He set multiple records on water, using his boat, also named Blue Bird. His pioneering spirit and determination made him a prominent figure in the history of motorsport and speed records.
