Sir John Talbot
Sir John Talbot was an English nobleman and military leader during the Hundred Years' War. Born around 1383, he became known for his bravery and skill in battle, particularly in the campaigns against the French. Talbot held the title of Earl of Shrewsbury and was a prominent figure in the English military efforts during the 15th century.
Talbot's most notable achievements include his victories at the battles of Patay and Castillon. He was appointed the governor of Guyenne and played a crucial role in maintaining English territories in France. His military career ended with his death at the Battle of Castillon in 1453, marking a significant moment in the decline of English power in France.
