Sir Henry Lawrence
Sir Henry Lawrence was a British soldier and administrator in India during the 19th century. Born in 1806, he played a significant role in the British East India Company's military campaigns and was known for his leadership during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. He was instrumental in the defense of Lucknow, where he helped organize the British forces and civilians during the siege.
