Sinclair ZX80
The Sinclair ZX80 is a home computer released in 1980 by Sinclair Research. It was one of the first affordable personal computers, aimed at hobbyists and beginners. The ZX80 featured a compact design, a membrane keyboard, and a 1 MHz processor, allowing users to write simple programs in the BASIC programming language.
With only 1 KB of RAM, expandable to 16 KB, the ZX80 was limited in capabilities but introduced many to computing. It connected to a television for display and used cassette tapes for data storage. The ZX80 played a significant role in popularizing home computing in the early 1980s.
