Simon Wiesenthal
Simon Wiesenthal was an Austrian-Jewish Holocaust survivor born on December 31, 1908. After surviving the atrocities of World War II, he dedicated his life to hunting down Nazi war criminals. Wiesenthal believed in the importance of justice and accountability for those who committed crimes against humanity.
In 1977, he founded the Simon Wiesenthal Center, an organization focused on Holocaust education, human rights, and combating anti-Semitism. Wiesenthal's efforts led to the capture of numerous war criminals, and he became a symbol of the fight for justice for victims of the Holocaust. He passed away on September 20, 2005.
