Silverchair
Silverchair was an Australian rock band formed in 1992 in Newcastle, New South Wales. The group consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Daniel Johns, bassist Chris Joannou, and drummer Ben Gillies. They gained fame in the mid-1990s with their debut album, Frogstomp, which featured hit singles like "Tomorrow."
Over the years, Silverchair evolved their sound, experimenting with different genres, including alternative rock and post-grunge. They released several successful albums, such as Neon Ballroom and Diorama, earning multiple awards, including ARIA Awards. The band went on hiatus in 2011, with members pursuing solo projects.
