Silesian Wars
The Silesian Wars were a series of conflicts in the 18th century primarily between the Kingdom of Prussia and the Austrian Empire. The wars were fought over the control of Silesia, a region rich in resources and strategically important. The first war began in 1740, and the conflict continued until 1763, with multiple battles and shifting alliances.
The most notable wars included the First Silesian War (1740-1742), the Second Silesian War (1744-1745), and the Third Silesian War (1756-1763), which coincided with the larger Seven Years' War. Ultimately, Prussia emerged victorious, solidifying its control over Silesia and enhancing its status as a major European power.
