Siku Quanshu
Siku Quanshu, or the "Complete Library in Four Sections," is a vast collection of Chinese literature compiled during the Qing Dynasty. Completed in 1792, it encompasses four main categories: classics, history, philosophy, and literature. The project aimed to preserve and organize China's literary heritage, resulting in over 36,000 volumes.
The Siku Quanshu was commissioned by the Qianlong Emperor and involved thousands of scholars. It serves as a crucial resource for understanding Chinese culture and history, reflecting the intellectual pursuits of its time.
