Sikh Traditions
Sikh traditions are rooted in the teachings of the ten Sikh Gurus, with the first being Guru Nanak. Central to these traditions is the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture that serves as the eternal Guru for Sikhs. Key practices include daily prayers, community service, and the celebration of important festivals like Vaisakhi and Gurpurab.
Another significant aspect of Sikh traditions is the concept of Seva, or selfless service, which emphasizes helping others without expecting anything in return. Sikhs also practice Langar, a communal meal served to all, regardless of background, promoting equality and unity within the community.
