Sigurd II
Sigurd II was a king of Norway who reigned from 1136 to 1155. He was a member of the House of Knýtlinga and the son of King Sigurd I. His reign was marked by internal conflicts and power struggles, particularly with rival factions within Norway.
During his rule, Sigurd II faced challenges from other claimants to the throne, including his half-brother Inge the Hunchback. Despite these challenges, he managed to maintain control over parts of Norway until his death in 1155, which led to further disputes over the monarchy.
