Shoshone-Bannock Tribes
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes are a Native American group located primarily in southeastern Idaho. They are composed of two distinct tribes: the Shoshone and the Bannock. Historically, these tribes were known for their hunting, fishing, and gathering practices, as well as their rich cultural traditions and languages.
Today, the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes are recognized as a sovereign nation and operate the Fort Hall Indian Reservation. They engage in various economic activities, including agriculture, gaming, and tourism, while also working to preserve their cultural heritage and promote community development.
