Shinano
Shinano is a river in Japan, known for being the longest river in the country. It flows through the Nagano and Niigata prefectures, stretching approximately 367 kilometers (228 miles). The river is significant for its role in agriculture and transportation, providing water to the surrounding regions.
Additionally, Shinano is also the name of a famous Japanese battleship from World War II, which was part of the Yamato class. Launched in 1944, it was one of the largest battleships ever built, designed for naval warfare. However, it was sunk in 1944 during the war.
