Shia Beliefs
Shia beliefs center around the leadership of the Imams, who are considered the rightful successors to the Prophet Muhammad. Shia Muslims believe that these Imams are divinely appointed and possess special spiritual and temporal authority, guiding the community in matters of faith and practice.
Another key aspect of Shia belief is the concept of Imamate, which emphasizes the importance of the Imams in interpreting the Quran and Islamic law. Shia Muslims also commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, the grandson of the Prophet, during the month of Muharram, highlighting themes of sacrifice and justice in their faith.
