Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan was the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the ruler of Abu Dhabi. He served as president from 2004 until his passing in 2022, following the death of his father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE.
