Sergio Osmeña
Sergio Osmeña was a prominent Filipino politician who served as the fourth President of the Philippines from 1944 to 1946. He was born on September 9, 1878, in Cebu, and became a key figure in the country's fight for independence from American rule. Osmeña was a member of the National Assembly and later served as the Vice President under Manuel L. Quezon.
During his presidency, Osmeña focused on post-war reconstruction and economic recovery following World War II. He was instrumental in establishing the Philippine Rehabilitation Act to aid the country's recovery. Osmeña's leadership helped lay the foundation for the future development of the Philippines. He passed away on October 19, 1961.
