Serbian First League
The Serbian First League is the second tier of professional football in Serbia. It operates under the governance of the Football Association of Serbia and features clubs competing for promotion to the top division, known as the Serbian SuperLiga. The league typically consists of 16 teams that play each other in a round-robin format.
Each season, the top teams earn promotion, while the lowest-ranked teams face relegation to the Serbian League, which is the third tier. The league plays a crucial role in developing local talent and providing competitive opportunities for clubs across the country.
